Changed in Lightroom to Antique Grayscale a adjusted the exposure a little. Then I added a Gaussian blur to the girl in the background.. I love the look on his face..

What a sweet boy little, I love the composition. You'll find that DPC voters tend to feel that sharpness is paramount. Photos lose clarity when resizing, so you may need to experiment with resize techniques & parameters (e.g., bicubic, bilinear, etc.). Check out the DPC tutorials on saving for the web, too.

Cheers, and welcome to DPC!

The sepia works so well for this 'emotive' image, and yes, welcome to DPC.....

You've chosen a soft focus for this. Sometimes having something, however small, in perfect focus enhances the overall soft effect. Sepia works well.

Sometimes we take photos that mean a great deal to us because of our affinity with the subject. Perhaps that's the case here. But I don't have an affinity with the subject, so it's not as interesting to me.

Not in focus, the background is too distracting

Cute, but I can't see any part of the image in focus, unfortunately.

I love the color tone. Gives it an older feel.
