apples and dandelionsby timfythetooComment: I suppose it's possible you were after a high key photo here, and perhaps with a different crop, it could work well. But as it is, it appears to have been simply over exposed. |

Solar Iceby digifotojoComment: I think the thing that appeals to me here is the stark contrast of rock and snow. The flowing river adds a nice dimension. The sky color and detail are nice. Overall, the whole photo seems to work. It's a pleasant place I'd like to experience. Among best in class. |

The Old Man And The Seaby zaflaboutComment: Aptly titled. Wonderful cloudscape. Pleasant reflections. Including the figure drinking in the clouds was brilliant ... wish it were me! Among best in class. |

Timeby badger88Comment: For some reason this reminds me of the 1950 vintage movie, The Day the Earth Stood Still. It's start. It's soft. It's angular. It's amorphous. It's what i'd like to see more of at DPC. Among best in class. |

Look What the Tide Brought Inby MarcelLainezComment: I truly dislike this genre of photography ... but this is so good I'll make an exception. Among the best I've seen of photos of this type! And among best in class this challenge. |

There was life once....by ValaRunComment: I would love to stand where yo stood and drinkit all in. I suspect our small DPC format doesn't do this photo justice. Among best in class. |

`*~Gräfenberg~*~by DamzelComment: I'm a sucker for flower macros and this is no exception. The color, composition, focus and detail make this special ... and did I mention I love this subject? Among best in class. |

Threeby TerramarComment: We see a lot of the warm family at sunset photos here, and mostly they're not worth the energy it takes to display them ... but this is different. It has a "going toward the light" feeling ... with great definition of the sand and these wonderful banded waves. I think you've overcome the genre. Among best in class. |
