I like this image for the fact that even thhough it is a long shutter speed, the highlights are not blown out in the water. However, it looks soft to me either due to slight camera shake or to a lack of USM. I think that if you cropped out the trees on the left and applied an aggresive unsharp mask, then this would be a great piece.

Very nice clarity in this shot. I woul dhave preferred the focus be on the bird's head, but It is still acceptable on the feathers. Interesting shot, well done.

Very nice lighting. I like the natural facial expression of the model, but i feel that her pose may be a little too forced or uncomfortable. Still a good photograph with an excellent use of rim lighting.

I think that this image suffers from low contrast. It is all grey. This could have potentially been a stronger image if the contrast was raied. In that case, we would see whites and blacks rather than just middle greys.

Nice silhouette. I feel that the simplicity of the foreground and the complexity of the backghround defeats its purpose however.
