another cool lightning shot, though over exposed. Perhaps a larger aperture (usually around f/11) works extremely well for lightning, while not blowing out the main bolt. Also, the horizon is tilted.

I think this photo would fair extremely well as a macro shot, or closer up. Also, learn to set the white balance! It's an easy tool, and very valuable. The photo has a blue tint to it, caused from the flash.

The exposure and lighting just arent doing it.I see you fired a flash, but perhaps you needed to light the inside of the room as well to get a good exposure.

The lighting is harsh, or perhaps it was caused by post processing. I dislike woodies, but its a good setup regardless.

good subject choice, but the window with the drops takes away from the photo. I would have gotten out and shot it.

A very lucky capture! However, I think perhaps a little too long of an exposure. Don't take it heartidly, Ive never been able to capture lightning.
