A nice portrait, though I am unsure of the camera position. It might be stronger to have been lower.

a fairly nice b/w shot. a little crop on the left to bring the boy into the thirds would help it out.

personally, I would have removed the shoe. Its not helping the photo much, and with fog like this, you'd have a fantastic shot...

Very nice image. Might I suggest cropping the top of the image a bit, as it feels very 50/50 to me. A crop tot he top *which in my opinion would only make it stronger* would give this image the impact it needs to get a ribbon. congrats on this successful image. Where was it taken?

Here I think you have a picture that isnt so great, but if you looked further you would have something very worthwhile. Might you try opening this image, zooming in and cropping just around the eyes, showing your reflection in the beach itself. good luck.

I'm sure that this image is getting hammered much like mine, but I love it.

I love when fellow DPCers, take the more artistic approach with things. This is certainly interesting and stimulates my brain.

Congrats to you my friend.

Technical: The sky is very noisy.

Personal Opinion: I understand a shell comes from the beach, but I dont think this captures what the challenge is about.

take the dead space on the left, bring it to the right, and you have a great photo!

It's a little to "flat" for me... as if there is no middle ground.

A crop to the top may also help abit.
