No blown out highlights and good overall exposure. The composition and angle of view work nicely here. I would prefer a bit sharper focus, maybe more post sharpening. |

Simply Redby BNCComment: I almost used this theme. This turned out nice with only one dissenting comment. I wish you could have gotten rid of the shadow from the rose. I wonder if a finely focused directional source light from the left would do the trick. Maybe use a snoot or barn doors. Anyway, I liked this photo and think it very good. |

elevatingby defrostedComment: This one is a bit unusual, but I find the scratched surface very anoying. I also think (just my opinion) that the shadows are not strongly tied to the subject. To me the subject looks more like the slit of light. |
