Lunchby littlegettComment: I think you've done a good job of capturing the antithesis of 'delicate.' |

implied intersectionby myceliumComment: I'm commenting because either (1) I've simply forgotten how to edit image info post-challenge, or (2) it's not possible without being a paid member of the site.
Just wanted to add that I appreciate the comments I've received on this photo. The dismal score served as a lesson to me--I've had to re-learn the meaning of DNMC!
Will be working on becoming more thematically appropriate. |

Twistyby HepciComment: I like this minimalist approach. For such a stark shot, lighting and crispness are key. I'd have liked to see a clean white background for the shot rather than the murky pink. Great idea for this challenge. |

Straight into the waterby mackingComment: This photo holds plenty of promise--it's got compositional interest--but it suffers from a dark exposure, a crooked horizon, and heavy vignetting on the right and bottom. Some PS work would have done a lot for this photo. |

Mattby LydiaComment: My pick from this challenge. One of a very few (from an already small set of submissions) that really communicates the model's character. Pose is interesting, composition is good, and the lighting is effective. Very well done. |

From Beneath by GringoComment: Way to go. Keep on showing off California in that uniquely favorable light in which you cast it. |

Ancient Database Serverby h2Comment: Haha. I chuckled at this one. I was critical of another photo for its top/bottom framing, but it works for me here, I think because of the stark geometric composition of the photo itself. |
