Kinda weird, but I like it. Technically, I think you should have shot this at a smaller aperture to get the foreground silhouettes as sharp as the light in the background. A noise-reduction program like NeatImage would have nicely cleaned up the dark areas. Also, the foreground figures are just kind of straddling the cusp between silhouetted and detailed--I'd have preferred that they simply be solid black shapes.

Hrm, 5.78? I think this photo was underscored. I really liked the abstraction of a mundane object, and this photo showed good control of tonality. I thought it was really good that you got the full range of tones. Points of criticism would be the border (I would have liked an equal amount of room on the sides as the top, and I think the white was too bright) and the loss of detail in the darker areas of the helmet, but the care and skill you demonstrated with the rest of the photo should, I think, have been enough for a significantly higher score.

I'm afraid I find this somewhat lacking in aesthetic appeal. Also, the focal point in this photo is either the belly button or the diaper, not the shoes.
