twoby JeniYComment: I'll jump on the bandwagon of "the texture adds a lot to this image" because I agree. The painterly feel gives it a timelessness that I don't believe it would have otherwise. |

Where's the Food? by MelonMusketeerComment: Lizards. Love it. Reminds me of how my brother calls squirrels "tree rats."
I'm having trouble understanding why you were paying more attention to the foreground than to keeping the horizon straight. |

Anitaby PaulComment: Posed yet candid. Candid yet posed. It works awfully well. |

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHby kawesttexComment: OK, I just found this (obviously a bit behind the times) and pretty much ROFL'd. That's one expressive kid. |

Entropyby odriewComment: You've got the weirdest voting histogram here. A spike of 10s and, most noticeably, a spike of 7s. The voting breakdown just goes to show you that the average vote really tells you rather little. |

Walking the treeby manishComment: Hmm... this photo give me an idea. Thanks for the inspiration, even though you didn't mean to... :) |

Window Royaleby dahlinComment: Nice and crisp; I like the rigid geometric presentation. The reflections in the window adds a lot of interest, and the small bit of branch lends an attractive organic element to the otherwise fully manmade scene. I notice you have a bit of perspective distortion--judging by the bricks, were you shooting at a slightly downward angle? or is my sense of this backwards somehow?--anyway, since this photo is so much about precision and straight lines, I think a bit of perspective correction would work for you here. |
