Clever. I'm going to have to guess that the 'shadow' is a paper cutout... I was thinking that maybe you had an external flash you fired, but then there's be a distinct image of the pinwheel too. I like the idea.

Tough shot. Great timing. I wish the crop were tighter such that the seeds that had just come off were maybe 2/3 of the way to the right of the frame instead of slightly left of center.

This shot is so silly, but it's actually quite nice. I like the tonal range in this shot; the only thing I would change is the placement of the fan relative to the right frame. It serves as the focal point, but it's falling out of the frame. If this was cropped down from a larger picture, this should be an easy fix..!

this picture is delightfully weird. Was the color retouched at all? The yellow sky sure is something. I would like this picture much more if the subject stood out from the background more - the trees are too contrasty and draw the eye away from the hanging girl. I guess there might not have been much you could do about it, except hope for overcast weather . . . but maybe if you're going to work on this photo further, beyond the scope of DPC, you can do some levels adjustments and selective dodging and burning.

I normally think dogs look dumb, but this one looks genuinely happy, and the expression has a profundity rare in the canine world!
