Crop dusterby Pug-HComment: Hey, now this is interesting. Looks like that chopper is really low to the ground! You must have been very quick with your camera--a skill I'm still not very good at! This is why I tend to do better with landscapes and studio setups... |

smithers_4by rileyComment: I am such a sucker for cat shots. Looks like this old guy is handling the summer heat well. |

rose-dream-DSC_0032by tangueraComment: You're on a promising path here. Nice use of overlap to add texture without overwhelming the image. That said, I wonder how it would look if you'd partially masked out the overlay on the sphere(?) to let a little more detail on the palm trees through. I look forward to seeing where else you go with this. |

Aug 4 - Pigeons' Responseby tvsometimeComment: Goodness. Now here's an effective capture of statuary in an advancing state of degradation--and the birds certainly accentuate that. Nicely processed to bring out the full tonal range and the texture of the marble. |

sunset0104by JustCareeComment: I just love it when you get these brilliant colors in the sky. It's really a magical thing. Maybe one of the benefits of being a shutterbug (and this isn't unique to those who take pictures) is actually looking enough to see things like this--rather than just scurrying along to the next destination. Most people never look up. |
