Temple of Wilmaby d95vetteComment: I don't see how this meets the challenge... I really like the photo on its own merit, but as a submission to the "Busy" challenge I don't get it |

Piazza di Spagna alive - Romeby srugoloComment: quite fantastic, I love the white of the fountain in contast to the black of the clothing, as well as the chaos of the people juxtaposed with the solidity of the fountain and the buildings... not to mention you depict visual busy-ness as well as personal busy-ness

Fall Colorsby dpcollinsComment: looks like this picture has a cool cast from being taken in the shade. if you adjust the blue levels you can fix this and bring out the warm tones of the leaves. |

Reachby JutildaComment: This is a good time for me to mention that I really like this picture as well. It breaks rules with elegance and sophistication in a way that blurs the line between photography and graphic design. That is most excellent. Message edited by author 2005-11-07 04:28:09. |

Waitby JaimesonComment: great photo. looks like you have a very patient and obedient canine friend! I love the brick in the background. If you could do something to bring out the texture in your dog's fur, I think that would help - the strong texture in the background distracts from the apparent smoothness of the fur. Something like this:
I ran a couple of passes of USM on the whole image and then masked out the background and floor so the only parts that were sharpened were your dog. Then I did a bit of dodging on the fur highlights to amplify contrast. Then a bit of NeatImage mostly on the background and the floor. As bear_music might say, this is "by no means a definitive rework," but maybe it's an adequate illustration of what I'm saying.
