Wind Chimeby sarimiliComment: the focus here is very poor-
was your camera set in macro mode?
unless you have the proper settings (or lens) on your camera, attempts at close-up photography will result primarily in blurry images. |

Laughterby debbybrisComment: looks like you used a fill flash to keep from losing detail in the foreground/shadow areas. good idea. The light, though it is behind the subject, is coming pretty strongly from camera right - for this challenge, I think that having the backlighting more directly behind your subject would have been more appropriate. |

Wretched Excessby RKTComment: it seems I have failed thus far to mention how much I like this picture - you've managed to create something both dark and delicate, which I find very hard to do. |

best friendsby suemackComment: I feel like this image gets no particular benefit from the soft focus - looks like it was too low a shutter speed. ME WANT SHARP! |

Pondering the Mysteries of the Remoteby drydocComment: hahah. nice. this lady looks more grandmotherly than motherly - though of course one is a mother first - doesn't bother me, but you might lose points from the hardcore DNMC crew..
you did a great job of capturing one of those universal experiences that we all have :)
(as opposed to those universal experiences that not all of us have... umm....) |
