great picture and intriguing shapes. not sure why you named it 'christmas in seattle' - christmastime or not, christmas doesn't seem to play into this photo at all, so having it in the title seems arbitrary. I say this only because this is an excellent image, and it deserves an excellent title.

beatiful tonal quality; she looks like she's glowing. the shirt is a bit too bright - I have no problem with whites in a photo, but in that part of this composition, they are distracting. I like the texture of the background, which is complex enough to keep some interest while subdued enough to keep the focus on the subject. the sharpness of the hair is well done also. the pose and expression look genuine.

wow, the line of the water lilies makes this photo look almost as if the plants are underwater, and the camera is sitting half above and half below the water line. don't know if this was intentional, but it definitely adds to the photo.

cool shallow DOF effect. I think the impact could be somewhat improved if the background scissors were placed so that one of its fingerholes provides a circular frame for the eye of the needle.
