ripplesby posthumousComment: Why'd the crack cross the road? To illustrate the upheavals of time and weather. Well-composed shot with a heightened sparkle to it. I like the inky background. |

From floor to floorby PaulComment: Cool, colorful image. Also, as the gentleman on the left illustrates, the transition from relative ignorance to knowledge. While the massive black girder serves to set apart the man, it also seems to loom a bit large. |

Transiting the Graveby MeMex2Comment: Ah, transition of transitions. In my opinion, this image would be greatly improved by situating the central figure more to the left. |

from hunter to huntedby AbraComment: Artfully and starkly shown fundamental, primitive transition. I like how the spider webs lattice the entire frame. |

Industrial Strength Transitionby yashicaComment: No one said the transition can't be abrupt. This in your face image really illustrates that. I like how, within this stoppage of traffic, the wires arcing between the telephone poles brings a sense of motion to the scene. |

Fading to blackby Alex_PetriniComment: Very nice, serene sunset image. I particularly like the metallic tone of the rocks. Less sky might alleviate that halfway water horizon aspect, in my opinion. |

Letting go of the fear of fireworksby UrhoComment: Beautiful image of childhood and its emotional transitions. The children outside, the bright flashes of firecrackers, the reflection in the window --- all that come together gloriously. A favorite. |

OH how the grass has withered by NeatComment: Lovely line of trees against the blue and white sky, with a golden expanse of withered grass before it. The man on the bench, with the hefty backpack and walking stick, re-echoes the metaphor of passing time. Both pretty and wistful. Some halos on tree trunks. |
