Entropic Patternsby DudskiComment: Lovely, peacock-y image. Wonderful that you can find such extravagant pattern and color in entropy, which the dictionary calls, in part, "the measure of the randomness, disorder, or chaos in a system." In my personal house of worship I'd love to see this very stained glass window. |

Nature meets Manby nygoldComment: Ordinary, but no less beautiful for it. To analyze this would be trite and to no avail (which hasn't stopped me before, but hey...). I'm on the same wavelength as the photographer. Nice picture. |

Fibonacci in Redby GeneralEComment: I'd call this depth of red purple, but Fibonacci would be delighted to have this pinned upon his lapel. The new growth emerges in a magical glow. The white markings on the leaves do not impede the beauty of the pattern. Very nice. |

detectingby cutoutComment: This attempt at the brown will not pass. I like the blurry facets of the proto-argyle couched in ambiguous grain. There's a sense of sci-fi dread anticipation of the unknown.
Or maybe not. |

The Shy Extrovertby ShortstuffComment: An elegant and appealing portrait. Well-composed. Her brown eyes seem to catch the red of her clothing and fingernails. Nicely lit. The patterns on her hand and face simply extend the elegance. |

distractionsby armando_mComment: Wonderfully observed composition of fruit within a net-like bag. The swirling contours give intriguing dimension to the simple starting pattern. The color is lovely. A sensitive and artistic eye at work here. |

Checkerboardby lunachickenComment: Beautiful large scale pattern akin to a woven basket. It's amazing how something so massive can hold a finely inscribed design. (Maybe a lot of massive objects do so, but it's still impressive.) You show a sensibility open to the possibilities across the scale of size. |

Criss Crossby banmornComment: Interesting latticework facade to the enclosed building -- if I'm reading this correctly. I think the architect got carried away. Your black and white treatment serves it well. |

Pylons without a Pierby MargaretNetComment: From this teeming multitude of posts an intricate pattern emerges. Could even be an alien invasion. The water becalmed lends a sense of mute waiting. It is so inviting to ascribe personality to these "beings." I also like the sunniness of the day and the hint of human habitation in the background. |
