Only your mindset knows for sure. The blur and darkness invite a murky inner search for meaning. The bright scene in the mid-ground store wonderfully distracts the eye. Strong, effective and captivating. Cropping out the bright object on the far right might dispel with, what for me, is a distraction (not a wonderful one).
