directby NiallOTuamaComment: Creative and engaging. Hangs together stylistically, but I find the sign to be jarring... maybe intentionally so. But here is a portrait that goes way beyond someone just standing before a camera, and I've spent a good amount of time pondering it, enjoyably so. |

Pretend it isn't happening.by RKTComment: We can all identify with this. While the hands over the face certainly convey the feeling, I even more appreciate the blurring and dissolution everywhere else, an undertone that supports the obvious. His hands are very handsomely presented. Nice image.

DPchallenge-5by Mariano1127Comment: She seems to be a reluctant bride. It's this tension that animates the image. Her skin appears a bit blotchy, maybe due to the lighting, shadows thrown from the tulle. While interesting, I also find it disturbing. |

gentleman insideby LevTComment: His face and hands express deep experience. The foreground and background are casual and unpretentious, as he is too. Every crease and crag is lovingly presented. I like this quietly dynamic portrait.
A question about the title -- why wouldn't he be a gentleman inside? Clothing and character needn't be at odds. |
