From A to Bby NeatComment: How did I wander past this "neat" image without commenting? It's really marvelous, the most interesting and artistic image of the lot. Never been there, and I know it's not, but I'm thinking "Paris", rainy day impressionist paintings. The composition and mood dazzles. And yes to the cat in a hat. |

Funicularby primabarbaraComment: Sleek and other-worldly. Effective as a cue to what's coming rather than the train itself. It's kind of like a cut-away of a snake, its ribs and vertebrae. Enjoyably suggestive. |

urbanites' preferenceby tvsometimeComment: The man with the hounds-tooth pants adds a grace note to the essential jazziness of the shadows. It's a musical image, brassy and edgy, and it dances out from the people throwing these shadows onto the sidewalk. A lovely appreciation. |
