1381by pixelpigComment: Without the window I'd say this is an interesting piece of abstract art. I know it's of the ceiling but I keep trying to make sense of it as right side up. Holding a booklet to crop the left side, I do favor such a crop, my opinion only. The tones and shadows are quite elegant. I also like the overall crispness of it. |

Zebra Reduxby NikonJebComment: Lovely frame of greens about the butterfly and the orange flower. Nice shallow focus. There's something winning about the combination of the butterfly and the flower, like a sunrise, or a display of heart. |

Independence Passby GermaineComment: A sun-drenched pause in the ups and downs of life. People are taking stock, chatting about destiny while inwardly weighing options. That patchwork sign is just befuddling. At least that's how I feel this image, filled with tacit drama, as attested to by the gathering shadows in the clouds. Setting the sign front and center is such a good choice, stopping the viewer for a moment before exploring the parking lot and then the receding mountains. Makes me wonder. |

Urban Off Trackby jomariComment: The bright green vegetation, especially in front of the tunnel, feels like a dubious prelude to venturing forward into the dark. Like flute music in a horror film. It keeps one deliciously off balance and engaged. Pretty. Am I deciphering the graffiti properly as Think Tank"? |

Sophieby posthumousComment: One's dog is a deep presence, and Sophie out of focus is certainly not diminished as such. As a matter of fact, it may distill the intensity. As for the background, more than half in focus, it's a very nice pattern of diagonal stripes. Kind of like the field of a flag, with Sophie as the central emblem. |

Here's My Dogby streetpigeonComment: Thanks for the comments.
Yes, a sheltie. Mochi, 4 and a half, sweet as can be, but barky and easily activated.
Yes, it was raining today and we're just about to take a walk. That raincoat saves so much time in drying and grooming. |

The Seekerby RKTComment: Entrancing and cinematic. The movement and intensity, the focus, light and speckled overlay all help bring together this fascinating image. The crop just below her eyes adds to the drama. Delicacy and power. Very fine. |

blast.2.IMG_0835by mariucaComment: Lovely moment of child's play, of introspective discovery and enjoyment. The heavy grain adds poignancy, emphasizes the evanescence of youth. Sweet and appealing. |

Untitledby aznymComment: Another beautifully composed black and white featuring several people in concert. Wizardry with grays. The dark lower left triangle plays nicely with the many varied blocks of tone. Refined and satisfying. |
