The bright green vegetation, especially in front of the tunnel, feels like a dubious prelude to venturing forward into the dark. Like flute music in a horror film. It keeps one deliciously off balance and engaged. Pretty. Am I deciphering the graffiti properly as Think Tank"?

The tunnel's tongue is poking out. Which is also the point of graffiti. Such a happy coincidence of gesture. I can't imagine the numbnuts who graffitied it recognised that, but I think you might have. Thank you.

The image has a cheerful brightness that comes, alas, from the graffiti crown.

Every time I see graffiti like this, I imagine the person standing there in some dorky, precarious stance while they do it. I also wonder why. Why there? Why the lack of self control? I like the softness of the grass contrasted against the harshness of the stone and jagged tagging.

I like pictures of holes for some reason. The photo itself is like a hole into another world. The hole in the photo might also go into another world, but we don't get to see it.

So it's like a photo of a metaphor of a photo, a sad metaphor, or at least wistful.

I have lots of pictures of holes that I don't show anyone. That sounds so wrong, I know. |

Effective color-blocking of the greenery to the right and left corners of the composition, I like how this shot gives just as much visual weight to the greenery surrounding the tunnel as the tunnel itself.

All that greenery looks very fine, it makes me wonder what is coming out of the tunnel?

This manages to combine the best of spring and autumn in its palette. Composition and subject are well suited to the square crop, too.

There is a discrepancy between that overgrowing nature and the Graffiti - which one is more natural? Is this tunnel really in an urban surrounding or are humans just everywhere...?

That tunnel is crying to be explored, but not by me!
