Your lens baby (I assume) images are inspirational, soft and dreamy. I'm always curious about how disparate objects somehow relate harmoniously and come into balance. These are not that disparate but still come together comfortably. This looks like the workroom of an alchemist, soothing and mysterious. Enjoyable photo.

Another strong image. The play of light on the ocean, sky and central strip of huts is sweepingly moody, the huts seemingly picked out by sunlight. The atmosphere is in flux and at odds with the serenity promised to these residents. I like the patterns created by the hut roofs and legs. In spite of the feeling of immanence, a strange calm is also present.

Very nice in-your-face portrait. It feels like this sheep has something important to express, but I can't really fathom it without anthropomorphizing and projecting my own feelings. Maybe it's the mutton factor. I like how the ear of the featured sheep occludes the eye of the next one behind, as if these aren't real living creatures but exploitable units. Okay, so I am projecting. The overall tones of sheep and hay are quite pleasing.

A lovely still life with admirable symmetry, a pairing of aspects rarely found together. It feels like new ground is being broken, but I haven't much knowledge. A symphony of grainy tones. I like this a lot.

An interesting image, symmetry counterbalanced by the asymmetry of the rose bush, then centered once again by the white rose. I like that the rose is backed by white, too, as your title declares. Humble, elegant and peaceful.

Immune to rodent body-shaming, this lass is wisely- and well-prepared for winter. I like the inclusion of the sunflower seeds and shells at her feet. With the orange leaf to her right she seems to be offering up her heart. A cute, nicely timed image.

This would make a fine record album cover, old-fashioned and newfangled. I especially like the view out the window, which certifies this peek into the 1930's or thereabout, at least as I see it. The tone, graininess and vignette also contribute. The central light area, though serving to highlight the guitarist's head and instrument, seems like a missed opportunity.

My eye flowed downward in this image. It began with, "oh no, a couple of flowers," but as I completed the visual journey I admired the creative, modulated and harmoniously toned result. The medieval illustration, perhaps of fertility and/or love, is an allegorical blossom or bud of a different order, but tied into the upper flowers. The moon and sun of the "real" flowers are echoed below on the upper stem and just inside the veined, globe-like bud. The upper flowers are subtly angled to look at the couple. It's a still life with a twist, and that allusive twist makes all the difference. Elegant and, did I mention, creative.

Interesting, eclectic and visually tricky. It's like a bunch of notes trying to become a chord, but unlike in music the effect isn't discordant but rather a happy melding of textures, tones and clarities. It doesn't let you off easily. It forces the eye and mind to dissect and then reassemble the whole. And I'm tickled by that challenge. A fine image.

Appealing and fascinating, especially the overlapping of everything but the central flower stalk. It puts me in mind of a rocket blasting off, creating billowing clouds of dust (as mentioned by Germaine). This would put it in an interesting perspective. It also reminds me, somewhat, of a honeycomb. A life lesson: the roadside is as worthy as the road. Thanks.
