A sweet, moving homage. The light imparts a magic to the image, sparkling on the road and diffuse ahead. I'm touched by it and find it to be quite special.

This is my favorite of the three because it's the juiciest. The lavish red goes well with the restrained white. All the glasses at this table for two hint at an evening of abandon, as the diners explore the breadth of the wine cellar. I also like the graininess. And red napkins, oh yes.

If you love it let it go. I'm glad it worked out for both of you. It's a treat to see this orchid in all its flowering stages, from bud to bloom. I like the succulence of the bejeweled petals.

Amazing array of shattered glass, and dazzling in color. Aside from the central area, it's like the crystalline walls of a cave that glitter only with the intrusion of light. The inclusion of the car's interior adds a story, either of tragedy, or demolition, or fantasy. For me, it's a spaceship that's crash landed on earth, and the alien is cautiously peeking out. Another fascinating image from the wrecking yard.

Nice scene on the verge of spring. I'm wondering if this is a river or a lake. I like how the power lines on the distant horizon faintly echo the trees in the fore- and middle-grounds.

A lovely and bountiful snack for this troupe of muckety-mucks. It adds to your theme of the month, deepening the perspective through time. My only quibble is that the painting peeking out on the right pulls my vision out of the main focus -- unless that's a dieting aid. Need I mention the current "Dutch Masterpieces" exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum? You're probably well aware of it. Think I'll go to the fridge for an apple.

You've created a wonderful result in itself and from the original. This is haunting, as it's very daguerreotype-ish, affecting and bygone. I like how you've transmuted the pole into something less overwhelming. Bravo!

Simple and pretty. A detail that delights the eye as we pass the day. I like the black on the right.

Fascinating old building and other structures. The upcoming Abandoned Buildings challenge is in your crosshairs. I like that you can see every brick, such a sense of presence. The composition, though not straightforward, is balanced yet still dynamic. The sepia tone works well. To cap it off, literally, are the two birds and the aerial, though the latter may actually be behind the building. The aerial is strange, looking like a car antenna, which confusingly seems to shrink the rest of the image to maintain relative size. I like it all.

I applaud your creative composite, but in the long run I like the image without him so much that I don't see the point. It's dreamy and gentle, with a dynamic relationship between the boy and the sailboat. Of course this is just a subjective take.
