This was my favorite image in the challenge. It's clever, subtle, interesting, tells a story, and has lovely blanched light, setting the time of day perfectly. This light (and flash?) washes out the yellow of the scooter, but that's how it works. The yellow in so many entries appears ratcheted up in "look at me" fashion. OK, it's a set-up shot, but it's done so very well. And what a fascinating shadow.

Congratulations on the blue. A silky image with beautiful colors, subtle textures and sculpturing, a natural bi-color. Love the blush of sun on the sand. A lovely shoreline study.
Personal favorite of the challenge.

Sorry this has been disqualified, for it's a lovely image. I didn't get it when voting. Textures, tones, contrasts and composition are all strong.

Doesn't fit the intention of a long, narrow rectangle, but it's a wonderful image.

I can hardly concentrate on the scene for the pretty vertical shapes. It's like a bouquet in the vase of life. Fine use of the format. Busy and charming.

Not sure why this works for me, but it does. Perhaps it's the disconcerting slant, or the woman's position. Is she sleeping or tired or in pain? Does her walker, if it's hers, explain everything? Is there a symbolic connection between her and the machine in the center background? I'm curious about the story. I like the unpretentious ordinariness of the scene. It holds the attention and leaves one incomplete.

An image of leaves against a blanched sky doesn't sound noteworthy, but this is pleasantly entrancing. The colors are appealing. Not sure what's going on to the right, but it's interesting.

The grace of the tendrils and the transitioning pink and blue of the sky set a lovely scene, but it's the beautiful color, detail and position of the morning glory that fully delivers. It seems to be longing, striving. The framing of the tendrils puts her, if I may, on stage, delicate and contained before the audience. Nice.
