Lovely image, painterly and hinting. Fine composition. The overlay, or whatever, is quite effective. I like how the yellow predominates, a suffusion of hazy sunlight. Like walking into a dream.

Beautiful capture of this mountain complex in this weather. I love the moody darkness surmounted by snow. The title is terrific and intriguing. Do you mean the architectural "central boss of a volute" or the top of a volute, a spiraled seashell? I took it to mean the latter, and enjoy such an implication. Wonderfully put together.
