Walk the Dogby GinaRothfelsComment: Offhand moment, fine composition. The toning imbues the image with warmth. Dog's-eye perspective pull's you into her or his world. Works well. |

Jaimeby arjuComment: Subtle. The softish focus endows the portrait with intimacy, as does her wistful gaze. Is there urgency here? So hard to read. The indistinct shading on the right brings it all into balance. Fine image. |

conklareeeby skewsmeComment: So forthright you can hear the bird's call. I love that tangle of branches he or she is amidst. The thrusting foreground forces you into the image. Altogether engaging. |

Laundryby glad2badadComment: Refreshing and tactile. Lovely, subtle diagonal in the clothesline. Nice contrast between the laundry and the filigree of shadows and trees. The hammock looks, to me, a bit out of place. Overall, though, very appealing. |

housefly in the gardenby rozComment: A jewel, and still sapphires and diamonds are dear. Fascinating, compelling, admirable. The focus fade on the wings is also lovely, as if a quilt has been settled on the fly's back. Nice light. |

going for itby mitalapoComment: Joyous child in a wide open, sunshiny world. Nothing better. She's so well placed. The flat terrain, including the water, is interesting and beckoning. The towers and lines seem musical and pull our eye into the distance, like an echo. Though weighted to the right, the image doesn't at all feel unbalanced.

it just takes one person to not feel aloneby lovemelvinComment: Lovely image. The crowd here of DPCers obviously was looking at numbers and density. And it's relative to location and situation, as in "two's company, three's a crowd." Your particular place and time is quite suitable, and this is a wonderful result.

Incoherent Assembly by Yo_SpiffComment: Congratulations on the blue and all the appreciation your image has received. Agreeing on the boost the black and white conversion confers. Really nice. Personal co-favorite of the challenge.
