I took several shots with her head tilted to show some face, but didn't think of turning the whole setup around (duh). I might just have to try that. ;-)

You were robbed. I had this one in my top three, but at least you didn't get a vote of 1 from anybody. ;-)

Look... at the top of the page... it's a bird, it's a plane... it's a ribbon! So well composed and technically flawless. Super job! I give it a 9.5 only because you forgot the signature curl in the forehead. Thanks to rounding though, you still get a 10. ;-)

A great combination of imagination and photographic skill. The forehead seems a little too smooth, but this will easily finish in the top 5, if not ribbon. 10

Excellent concept and execution. The face is a little too smooth IMO (there seems to be more detail in the hands), and her expression seems rather stoic, but you're still going to make the top 10 easily for the great imagination, lighting and color. Nice! 9

Yay! One of the most obvious fantasies in the challenge, rendered in suitably fantastic colors. My only complaint is that the little mermaid is facing out of the scene rather than engaging the viewer or directing attention towards the sun. Still, this is one of the best entries IMO and nails the challenge right betwen the fins. Good job! 9

You've turned an imaginative scene into reality, and you've done it very well. The lighting seems a bit harsh, and I suspect you're gonna get comments about Mr. Kent's wedding band, but this is one of my top picks. 9

Isn't this just the most remarkable building you ever saw, inside and out? Oh, if only I had the 10-22 lens last May! This is probably a better angle than any of the shots I got, but B&W is a crime with all that colored marble.
