As far as photo quality and technically shot well there is not much wrong here…as far as appeal it is lacking a bit. But after reading your comment I can see where you took this and the lack of appeal or boredom might just be what you were going for. Me looking at it and thinking how I would feel in that spot…but for someone in that time it probably brought much enjoyment, even when they were doing nothing. Think that has a lot to say on how fast life is now than then and why it’s hard to just sit still and enjoy idle time.

I like the photo…would like it more if his shirt didn’t have writing on it. As for meeting the challenge I don’t think it does…the window is more the background than the frame. Like I said for a normal photo it not all that bad…if you can deal with the noise which I really don’t mind that much. I think your low score definitely suffered from the window not framing your subject.
