Thanks for this comment. I was wondering the same why so many people don't know photography techniques and only looking for the bokeh effect(which is pretty easy to get) but taking a shot without the bokeh and WITH a shallow depth of field is so much more difficult. I think this really fits the challenge and is IMO a superb picture that should have had better votes.

This is my favorite of the whole bunch. Should go in the top 3. The cat's black color is amazing. I wish to see more shots of this black cat. Looks like the whiskers are black, too. :) An 8 from me
