I shot this photo from Silver Point. There's a viewpoint turnout just south of Cannon Beach. In fact, you can turn around from this view and see Haystack Rock to the north. We stopped in the AM on the way to the GTG.

I know how you can get more space between the tree branch and the point. Shoot it again! I'll go with you when you're ready, if you let me shoot over your shoulder. :)

This is beautiful image Mark. Congratulations! My only nitpick would be the left side of the lighthouse looks a tiny bit overexposed. That's probably due to size of the image. You loose so much detail by shrinking an image to fit DPC's stupid pixel limitations that you're left with only a suggestion of the actual image. When I shrink a photo from my 5D I end up with less than 15% of the original pixels.

Anyway, this is a sweet shot.
