This is a nice image. I think that you have a better understanding of the technique called for in this challenge than do many of the others--which is controlling the light so the camera 'sees' the subject in a way that it normally would not. For instance, the same pretty girl in three places at once. It is one of my favorite photographic techniques. It gives a photographer the freedom to create just about any image they can dream up.

It is hard for me to say what might have improved this image because I am not sure what the message is that you were trying to convey. If the girl̢۪s face were telling most of the story then maybe cropping to a closer shot of the faces would help. Maybe you could have used the color of the lighting to express yourself better.

Anyway, it is a nice image, and in my opinion needs a bit more. I think you are on the right track though. You should play with the technique some more, and do not be afraid to experiment and try different things with lighting, exposure, subjects, etc. Sometimes, at least for me, the best images come from doing something wrong or unintended. When I studied art one of my teachers called them ‘happy accidents.’

This is a beautiful photo! Very artistic. I'd like to know what you used to capture this image. It would be interesting to know if my guesses are accurate.
