I skipped this challenge, but in looking at the placments it seems that simplicity was rewarded, and a total focus on the candle and the light it produces. Much of the impact of this shot is generated by the stained glass windows in contrast to the color of the candle and it's warm light. I would bet it would have scored higher had you eliminated everything not lit by the candles.

Nice shot but the refrence to the famous scene may be lost on the younger demographic. Lacking the refrence it is a rather stilted shot, with the refrence it is quite funny

Love those last minute entries, if you don't submit the wrong photo you spell the title wrong. Oh well.

Some folks saw the vague blurs as smudges or reflections off a window; Ugly as they are, I disavow most of the blame as they are the vertical elements of the rails, blured into vagueness, I tried to pan even further to lessen them, but couldn't hold the pan that long.

if there were just a bit less contrast here or the blacks weren't as blocked up this would be the winner. good find well shot and framed, lacking a bit of focus and those mid tones, but oooh so close.7

the critter did a nice job hiding, but he takes up such a small amout of the frame that the shot dosen't realy show that off enough. I like the inclusion of the fence and the post, the short and the long grass, lots of good textures here in a very narow color range, but I wish I could see more of that, well he's small enough that I'm not sure what he is.
