This could have been sharper with more contrast on the technical side. On the composition side, this is one of the most meaningful photos in the competition that I have seen so far. At that age, kids are unaware of the dangers of traffic, and deaf kids more so than usual. I drive by signs like that all the time when in the US and never really see them. Time to be a little more careful I think.

On the right side, the house is distracting. Cropping at the trees(as you did on the left) would help that. The tradeoff is obviously loosing the empty bench which makes this look even more silent. A little more detail on the playgound equipment would have helped a little too, even at the expense of blowing out the sky a bit.

This is too grainy to really get the effect that I am guessing you are going for. I might try either more light (which kids will more often than not sleep right through) or a tripod and longer exposure time.

Not sure why this makes me think of silence, but it is a cool picture. Interesting that you were able to get the light that far down the gutter. One thing to try is to use the depth of field at the near end and let it blurr out in the distance rather than close by.

Sharper focus on the model would have helped, as the blur in the coat lable hurts this. Otherwise, this is very good.
