I think the focus could be a little stronger on the spikey parts of the chestnuts. I like the blurred background, so I might try to improve it either by using a tripod, or a quicker shutter speed and pushing in photoshop. The cropping works for me after a second, on first look I thought I would have preferred a little more background color.
