Blankety...Blank... Abstract!!!by autoolComment: There are three scary things about this photo:
1) Someone felt there was a market and manufactured a statue of a dog with his leg raised to urinate.
2) You thought it was suitable subject matter for a photo contest.
3) I am still laughing so hard I feel obligated to give my first 10.
Thanks for this, it was a welcome break! |

Thunder Storm in Dallasby DefyTimeComment: Nicely done Jack. You didn't get a comment from me because I usually don't comment on things I score relatively well, and this is no exception. Saw your post on making the top 10, and wanted to say congrats. |

Cat Walkby CheerzComment: Very clever "lack of proportion" as I have no idea how big these are. Only thing I can think to suggest is some extra fill lights to remove all shadows. |

God's Countryby JimQComment: A polarizing filter would make this more beautiful than it already is. |

Hotel Del Coronadoby CDSComment: This is nicely lit, but I remember this hotel as seeming bigger. Perhaps a tighter crop would give those not fortunate enough to live in beautiful San Diego the sense of scale involved in that building. |

Perfectly Balancedby peeteComment: I couldn't find a scale, and I was going to use the RMB and USD, but I had this idea exactly. It could be a little sharper, but I hope you win anyway! -10 |

Tall Flowersby pitsamanComment: If that is your child, save this picture forever, my daughter is 9 now and those flowers would be no where nearly as impressive. Photographically, I would recomend cropping a bit tighter, perhaps taking out the second tree from the left and about 1/2 inch above her head. I think that would make the viewer focus on her as the star of the shot. |

Confusingby Rusch24Comment: The color choices on this are excellent, but I honestly can't tell what message you are trying to send. Is this perfectly proportioned or completely lacking in proportion? I think to make this strong, you might think about an object for reference size wise. |
