Its an ideal place to shoot a photo for this challenge, was thinking of it myself. The angel is fine considering the lamps and the window but maybe you should have chosen another angel because of the tables. Also I think it would have given a good effect to use a smaller aperture to blurr out distant things. Think B&W´s are ideal for libraries unless there are some realy interesing colors wich you want to capture. And at last crop out the person in the forground.

Supose you are using the over-contrasting as some effect but I dont like it very much. Also I think that the frame is to thick, think people have to go careful on them.
