If I had to stand in that group, I would surely faint from anxiety due to claustrophobia. I love studying each individual face. A guy yawing, a woman grabbing a quick drink from her water bottle, a young woman texting, someone smiling. I like this a lot. It's one to study and see a different face each time.

Aren't camera phones great? I like this. It's like a glimpse at a moment. The simple things are around us but rarely do people capture them. I can't figure out how to get my phone images to upload straight to the computer. There is some incompatibility or something. I can send it to myself via email but then the image is quite small. :(

I used to see those guys at barber shops, but that is kind of a dying business. You see them in airports now. I like all of the black, and of course the word "black" brings it home even more.

We don't get phlox here. Maybe the heat? I never see it. The blossoms resemble vinca or the individual blooms of the hydrangea, which I adore. Your edit gives it a dream-like quality. Or maybe even an oil painting. YAY!

With my mom dealing with an oncology facility (she won't lose hers) I have noticed so many beautiful people sans hair. Heads are rather wonderful orbs!!
