Fear Of Letting Go by jagarComment: Is that Freddy Krueger in the lower left? LOL I like the tulip theme that runs throughout. This is bizarre and certainly befitting of the Fine Art category. I can see this hanging in an exhibit at a gallery. Upon review, I'm wondering if this would fit more into the "contemporary" category. Doesn't really matter because it's a discussion that can go on ad infinitum. |

-Ostracized-by GarryComment: This could tell a story. It could be an example of social commentary of the day. Fine art? I'm not so sure. But as I struggle with so many of these images, I realize how subjective this whole subject is. I think I'll stick with my first gut reaction. 6 I like how the light above the roof of the doorway mimics the light on the guy's head and arms. Almost like the same shape as the doorway in miniature. |

Tree 42by ambakerComment: I've come back to this several times. I'm struggling with so many of these images to be considered 'fine art." Is it a good photo? yes Do I think it deserves an above average score? yes Is it fine art? Not so sure. (IMHO) 6 |

The Negationby rooumComment: I've come back to this several times. Fine art? Hmmmm not sure, but that is so subjective. I think it speaks of our society in general and if that is commentary and makes us think, then art it is. I'm thinking contemporary more than 'fine' if that makes any sense at all. |

What We Boughtby spiritualspatulaComment: Quite avant garde. He almost appears to be floating on that grass. Interesting and thoughtful take on the challenge. :) Coming back. I'm having a hard time with this voting thing. Maybe I am trying way too hard. Is this more contemporary art or fine art? It is quite thought provoking and executed in a way to make us take more than one look. For that, I'm upping the score. |

The Thornby HeiSchComment: Very graphic and perfectly focused. I like the juxtaposition between the sharp angles and the wispy sky. Great title. |

April in Serendib by aznymComment: Beautiful low key. The constraints of the screen limit its possibilities. This would be awesome on a large canvas or huge print. 8 |

non allegorical image #7 by BrennanOBComment: Is that a real snake? This has JoeyLawrence written all over it. I appreciate the sarcastic Biblical reference. If I could change a thing, I might have a catch light in his right eye as well as his left. Terrific play of light and shadow. Technically, spot on! |
