Maple in Tree Minor by IvoComment: I am so excited for you. This was just my most favorite pic of the entire challenge. I could rave for hours, but I think I'll just let you revel in all of the congratulatory notes you'll receive.
BRAVISSIMO!!!!! |

Spikesby idnicComment: There's something about faces and when shot well, they always get a high score. I had given this a 9 and don't know why I didn't comment on it. I think the lighting and the composition is really artfully done, considering it's a reptile. LOL |

The Clawby Art RoflmaoComment: I think the look you obtain when you sharpen something after the fact is never as good as if it were crystal clear to begin with. I have found that more times than I care to mention. Since you had asked in the forum, I thought I'd just respond this way.
I love the single claw and the statement it makes as sort of an "alien" type prehistoric being, but to me it is still slightly out of focus. The lighting and composition is excellent I hope this is helpful. |

Pepper Sunlightby oOWonderBreadOoComment: I think this might have been just a tad bit too busy. Maybe it would have been more effective if you just zoomed in on one leaf and it's texture were the focus, instead of the texture of it against the other leaves mixed in with all of the lighting and shadow. When you throw all of that into the mix, it busies it up too much to make the impact I think you were seeking. Does that make sense?? Hope this is helpful. The overall idea is a good one. |

Deep Blueby arpitaComment: Wow - the water color is awesome. Nice rich tones. I like the lighting on this. The contrasting detail on the duck's feathers is great. |

Jonah Skylar!by smellyfish1002Comment: Love the eyes. Nice angle and semi-profile. I think it's great. Maybe add a touch more contrast? |

John H. Park.jpgby pumaComment: I think cemetery shots are really cool (see my "family " entry). This is good use of black and white. I love the sky's softness against the hard lines of the tombstones. Well composed! |

Intertwinedby rockhopperComment: Nice idea on the rocks. I think it might look more natural if they were in a different position with heads up and their necks entwined, but maybe the more abstract was your intent. This would be a great study in black and white - then you could really play with contrast. |
