Nice one. I like the wanton look of this shot. Like the subject is gazing out into the distance - you wonder what is their thought! Nice use of human/ architecture together. Great use of black and white!

This has great potential. I think the roundness of the blade (?) against all of the geometry of the building is good. My only critique would be to maybe place it less centered. You might even bring up the contrast just a bit. Play with it and see what happens!!!

Another beautiful sea shot. I like this one too- it evokes a very peaceful mood. Again, the single figure is a nice addition and gives it some perspective. You're doing so well!! Nice tones of color. Aren't sunsets grand???

Great idea! I love the single figure silhouetted against the vivid oranges and golds. For a first one - you did a great job. You'll learn if you have Photoshop, that you can use curves to adjust such problems as well but the use of the sunglasses just got it for you without any post editing. Good job, girl!! This is really outstanding! :~)

I've seen this shot in the thumbnails and not commented, although I liked it from the first view. It is wistful and a days gone by type feeling comes over you when you look at it. Great nostalgic coloration.The DOF is really good too. Just terrific overall.

The inch worm looks electric! Like a kid's night light. Very cool and the quarter flower is different and effective. Hard to believe it's not a big blossom!! Love the vibrancy of it.
