I gave this a 9 without hesitation upon my first view. I love the tilt and the color reflecting in the lens. The texture and detail of the camera are wonderful.

Yellow with a Splash of White

This is a stunning macro and certainly suites the challenge. The velvety detail is wonderful and all the variations of yellow from gold to a greenish hue, can all be seen in the rose. There is just the slightest bit of green up above the rose that I can see on my screen, but other than that, it's awesome. I gave this a 9.

I love the hat, but not quite the position she's in like I did in the other one. I do like the monochromatic theme and the hat almost camouflaged in the wheat field. What a fun day you guys had. Great results too.

This is wonderful. Just her body in the field of "wheat" (?) would be great with no flora or fauna in the background. You could drop right above her head and have another fantastic shot. I love the curve of her body amidst the upright sense of the crop! This one is truly an artful piece.

I love the whole sense this evokes. Literally like she's a fish out of water, yet totally comfortable with it. I love the one that won 4th, but this is a great shot as well. I like seeing the area in color!

I like what you are going for here but with all of the brightly blurred background, the clear small leaf gets kind of lost in the shuffle. I'd like to see it better against a more subdued background perhaps. I think the impact would work if the background were solid white or black.
