Lachine Canalby ceyvalComment: Pretty setting. The reflection of the stone pillars are nice in the water. I'd love even more contrast to really give it extra punch. Nice leading lines. Where is this? |

Soaring Skywardby Dr.ConfuserComment: Very symmetrical. Is this the needle in Seattle? It almost appears to be a bird with it's wings spread and the circular part is the head. (ok, I'm getting carried away - I need more coffee)
Nicely done. |

Venture into the Third Dimensionby xtabintunComment: Looks like George Washington. I like the landscape presentation. The shadowing works well. What if you upped the contrast even more? Hmmm just a thought. |

Oh Captain, My Captainby DottieDComment: This would be great if you really punched up the contrast ALOT. AS it is, it just kind of stays in the midrange of grays and isn't overly interesting. I'm not certain of the meaning of the title, but I"m sure it is significant to you. |

Vertigoby WalkaboutwolfComment: Great title. Nice use of lighting. I like the reflection of the yellow arrow. The landscape presentation gives the horizontal sense of it an interesting twist. |

Land, Sea and Skyby sbeaumontComment: Very pretty. This evokes a sense of calm. I like the yellow greens against the blue of the water and sky. I wish this image were larger - I'd like to study the details of the rock wall. One sheep , cow or horse would really make this a perfect shot for me. Nice! |

I'm watching you!by quiet_observationComment: CLEVER. I love it when someone finds a living action (or appearance thereof) of an inanimate object. I'm hoping you are thinking the two holes at the bottom are eyes? Not the most interesting photo, but your ability to see something other than what it is, peaks my appreciation and I'm voting accordingly. |

Now This is a Knifeby paul58Comment: That IS a knife. The clarity is there but I don't sense any reflective quality which might have made this a really spectacular shot. The wrinkling of the blue fabric in the back is a tad distracting. I think a solid flat backdrop might have served you better. |

DESERTEDby fotobugComment: I like the single word title. The infrared of the trees is cool against the warm gold sky and brown of the street. I like that the sign is leaning - it adds a touch of variation to the symmetry of the lined trees. I also like the tree on the far right side, being curved ever so slightly like it's trying to sneak out of the shot. The composition of this is really well done. The bench helps to ground the shot. Imaginative. |
