I like the idea of this. The lighting is spot on. My only complaint is the crop. I'd like to see the tip of the fern and the whole blossom of the rose.

The vine creeps

I'm a huge fan of berries and vines. I like the close up and detail of the brick and mortar. The diagonal line of the vine is a nice touch.

Pink 'N' Green

I love the idea of this. I like the up and down sense of the pencil points. IT seems slightly out of focus to me. Perhaps on a pure white background, they might've had just a bit more pop. You could achieve that with basic editing by doing a selective color adjustment (white) and using the slide tool to remove all of the other colosr that dirty it up a bit. Good composition and lighting.

Beach Colors

I really love the shape of umbrellas. This is it's own color wheel! I wish you had incorporated more negative (sand) space on either side of it. With this setting and relatively tight crop, it kind of has a targe bullseyet effect. The clarity is good and it certainly meets the challenge. 7

Yellow & Green

With a tad differentfocus, this could really be something. I feel as if the shirt is a bit more clear than the face. Maybe that was your intent, as the yellow and green are the complementary colors. For some reason, I like the sunglasses too. The crop is good and I don't even mind him being so centered in the shot. The dappled light is pretty and the DOF is well executed.

One Down

Of all the leaves, I think this is one of my favorites. It's simple, there is enough detail, and it certainly meets the challenge. I don't recognize this type of leaf. What is it??? The composition is good and I like the use of the (green) negative space. the almost diagonal sense of the paint or texture stroke of the green (wall? floor?) adds a bit of texture without making it busy and complicated. The minimalist approach most certainly works here 8

Snow White Asleep

What a clever imagination. I like that it isn't a leaf or a sunset. LOL I like that her bangs separate and you can see part of her forehead. If the rose and the ribbon were exactly the same color, that would be really cool, but no deductions because they aren't. the composition is good. I might crop so you didn't see that tiny bit of skin on her upper right arm. I'd have her remove her nail polish, but that's just little nit pick stuff. Overall - well composed, imagined and executed.

Two Friends

I usually hate stuffed animals as props, but this is adorable. I love the shadow of the right arms. The lighting is what does it. Spot on in thata department. I can see it large in a kids' room. Nicely composed and executed.

Orange - purple; yellow- blue; green- red. Hmmmmm I don't see those in combination here. Nice butterfly and rose, but this doesn't seem to meet the challenge to my way of seeing it. The DOF is well done. Maybe a tad tight on the side crops.
