I didn't comment on this until I came back for a second review. Not only did I up the score but the more I look at it, the better it is. This would make an awesome print. The frame of the old rotting wood is great. The light bouncing off of the pear on the right pear is a nice touch. The glow of the other two really makes for interesting appeal. It is quite artfully done. The use of negative space is spot on. 10

This dog has captivating eyes and the colors certainly suit the challenge. I love his pose. The composition is spot on. Great DOF. Mine would've jumped off the couch and would be licking me. What a nice model. hee hee

The simplicity is excellent. I love the detail. I'd do a selective color adjustment on the white background to remove the black and cyan. Other than that - spot on.

Where are the contrasting colors? Black and white are not true colors. The shot is way too small to work effectively. I'd make sure the dimensions are 640 pixels at the highest point and it will create a larger image. This would work better in true black and white with high contrast, but not in this challange.

This seems way over saturated and overexposed. The focus could use a tad of work as well. It does suit the challenge, but the overall effectiveness gets lost with the other things missing.
