Lonely go-go dancer

I don't see go go dancer at all. She needs a short skirt and white boots. This is kind of awkward. Her pose seems a bit unnatural. The "light" seems too harsh and over processed. Her whole attire is more "greek myth" like.

Pretty. The first thing that hurts you is the dark frame. I'd have used one of the colors of the flower - perhaps the palest - yellow or lilac maybe. Love the use of negative space.

Buttons

Comment:
This just doesn't have any visual appeal. Just a bunch of buttons piled on a blanket or something. For this to be artful, it needs something to make the viewer want to spend more time. Maybe a single pale pink button on a solid flat, untextured background with perhaps a need threaded with pale pink thread (or blue, or whatever) leading up to it, with lots of negative space.... Just a thought.

I like the idea of this. The detail of the rose is good but WAY too bright to really meet this challenge. A pale pink or pale yellow might have suited it better.

I like the idea of this. I think it lacks tack sharp focus, which hurts it. If the rose were a really pale pink, I think the challenge would have been served better. The composition is decent. Maybe have her holding the rose, down in front of her, so that there is more negative space to the right. The lighting is right.

This has no visual appeal whatsoever. It isn't tack sharp, the cup is dead centered like a target and the background doesn't appear that white. Maybe take an interesting piece of stemware, place it to one side using the rule of thirds, have a really focused image and go from there. To clean up the beigy tones of the background, use a selective color adjustment and remove the black, cyan, magenta and yellow.

I like the idea of this alot. The DOF is good, focusing on the one aqua candy, BUT it isn't tack sharp enough - and makes the whole shot seem kind of fuzzy. Bummer, cause I like it.

I like the idea of the dandelion. But it's lacking because it doesn't have tack sharp focus. Maybe bring the camera back, or use a macro mode.
