I like the diminished tones. Makes the flower stand out. The tendrils of her hair almost mimic the leaves hanging down on the trees. Interesting. Nicely done.

Very pretty. Love the detail of the rose. The background variation is a tad distracting, with all of the layers of the petals already having a busy sense to them. Maybe zoom in further and just have a hint of the background, in order to meet the challenge. OR put the rose way off center, with lots of negative space to one side. I'd actually love to see it cropped, with no background at all, but that's another challenge altogether. LOL

This has no visual interest, it's blurred and it isn't artful in the least. The focus needs to be tack sharp and the execution needs to show the viewer that you spent some time making the shot an interesting piece of eye candy.

I love the DOF. BUt I think the deep red is kind of "off" for this challenge. Otherwise, I'd give it a super high score. The focus on the hands and flowers is perfect.
