 I'm halfway happy with my postprocessing here, it's usually something I do pretty minimally. this is just raw adjustments in saturation and contrast, then hue/saturation...convert to lab color, usm and curves in the lightness channel.

I originally was gonna submite a different portrait, but I liked this one better. Some others preferred my my original entry here, but hey who knows.

I don't think some people will like the flower's positioning, but I dig it, though it's not perfect. No time to reshoot though as I head back to school today.

Nicely done. The one thing that I wish the subject had done (if this photo is staged which I think it is) is direct her gaze towards the flower. I think the subject is smelling the flower and it would make the photo more authentic if her gaze were directed towards it. 7

Crop out the basically dead space on the left side of the photo and it would be truly terrific. I love the palette.

The placement of the flower is disturbing. Would have prefered it to be lower and not covering her mouth.

Very creative and beautifully subtle lighting. That lone twig on the left is distracting, but I realize that without spot-editing there wasn't a lot you could do (cropping would ruin the composition). 7

I'm not sure I like how it covers her face. I think this would have been more effective if you had shot her and the flower from the side.

Nice dark appeal. The white of the flower really contrasts even with the girl's expression. Love the lighting, excellent.

I like the diminished tones. Makes the flower stand out. The tendrils of her hair almost mimic the leaves hanging down on the trees. Interesting. Nicely done.
