Lights of the Beyondby andriComment: Excellent night shot. I love the sirl of what is probably the aurora borealis. The building with the scaffolding around it is interesting amidst the natural setting. Very well done! I'd love a print of this!!!! 9 |

Journeyby SammieComment: Nicely done. The clarity of the birds is great. With the peaks being white, it almost diminishes the impact a bit for me. I wonder what it would have looked like to crop out most of the mountains and just zoomed in more on the birds. Just a thought. Still, well done and quite unique!!! 8 |

Timewornby BrinComment: This is nostalgia at its finest. The perspective is perfect. The depth of tone with the filter really accents the varations of the clouds. I love the contrast. This is so well done. 9 |

Color of Snowby loriprophotoComment: I love the tone on tone quality of this image. The horse is tack sharp and the stop motion is well done. All of the dry brush is a tad distracting, but given the situation, you did well with the landscape. I like that single twig in front of his hind quarters. I wish you could have panned back to create more of a sense of movement through the field. Just a thought. |

Mystic Morningby Kaja LundComment: I think the building is what really sends this home for me. The tree would have made a nice subject, but in combination with the structure, it grounds the shot and is very interesting with the mix of man made and the natural. The peaks of the evergreens along the horizon just add more to this shot, as they almost mimic the fence posts hidden in fog. Really well done. I'm wondering if adjusting curves and deepening it up would ruin that soft sense... hmmmm.. something to ponder. 8 |

Yesterdayby stormyComment: The sense of nostalgia cannot be denied here. The leading line is perfect. The depth of tone, even with the post edited sepia filter is variant and adds to the quality of it. It really helped enhance the sky. Well done!!! |

sunset kiteflyingby beafliesComment: Of all the sunset photos, I think this is one of my favs. The blue water slowly becoming orange, with the mix of the sea grass in the foreground, really adds nice texture. It has a progression all the way to the back of the shot which is really good. Love the silhouette of the people. The seagulls make it for me as a final crowning touch. Nicely composed. 9 |

Resting Flamingoby joezlComment: The crop encompases the entire bird, yet there is still some mystery to it because there are parts missing. The colors are so rich. This is pure eye candy for me. Way to go!!! 9 |

Masters Handby CalliopeKelComment: The lighting is superb as is the clarity of this shot. I like the detail of the hand. The human element mixed with the animal world always evokes such emotion for me. The closeness, the cameraderie. Nothing beats touch and this depicts it perfectly. 10 |
