Great concept but the interplay between the gaze and the birds just isn't playing right for me to love it, and the feather sizes aren't proportional to the sizes of everything else in the image. More work on the birds and this could have been fantastic.

Did you break the rule just because you had to? It's the one thing I don't like about the image. Maybe the rule you should have broken was not breaking the rules?
