Calton Hillby SiggavComment: I'd like to see more details in the shadows; they could be lighter, with more contrast, and still keep the detail in the sky. |

trincomaliby tnunComment: I think there's too much sky with no discernable detail, which could be cropped and shorten the image by half, and it would still be interesting. |

Cascade Silo by JacobKniselyComment: You could use more highlight range to your advantage and add more contrast. The image is also slightly tilted. |

White Picket Rangeby tangueraComment: Seems like there's an oldie film "night-time" filter that darkens your image too much. There is plenty of detail in the shadow areas that may be exhanced in your image so it appears more like ours eyes will actually see the scene. |

Power Gamesby sykerComment: Your image, like many in the challenge (and even mine) seems to be more about the sky than the land. The highlights seem too bright, also. |

Trees and Skyby nickybComment: Unfortunately, there is insufficient landscape detail in your image to see, which leaves skyscape. As such, perhaps more contrast in the sky would add some drama or interest for the viewer. |

Heading home....by JustDuckyComment: For a scene that's obviously well lit, the overall darkness is overbearing, as if heading home was a voyage into gloom... |

Aphotic Cityby ondninjaComment: The extreme contrast and lack of detail remove some of the interest in this image. Overall, it looks somewhat abstract, and that does fit your theme as I interpret it. |

Covered Bridgeby FarmrComment: You could try to expand the range of tones; the sky should be 20 to 25 points lighter. Then you'd have more levels to expand the dark areas in the trees to reveal more detail. |
